How We Delivered a Better Experience for Red Bull Mobile Customers

Supporting Red Bull Mobile in two digital initiatives

Red Bull Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that offers customers flexible access to mobile services. 

In Poland, the service operated on Play’s infrastructure, one of the country’s largest networks. It held a 28.5% market share and had over 15 million users. In 2023, Red Bull Mobile transitioned to T-Mobile Polska’s infrastructure. The goal was to support continued growth and offer better coverage.

The brand operates in several countries, including Austria and Poland. It targets a digitally savvy, younger audience. Known for mobile service packages and lifestyle content, Red Bull Mobile reflects the broader Red Bull brand identity.

We worked with Red Bull Mobile across two areas:

  • We built and scaled their core web platform.
  • We developed mobile applications for an interactive customer engagement program.

 

Each project was designed to improve the customer experience and give Red Bull Mobile the tools it needs to grow in the telecoms industry.

Building a secure, user-friendly website that scales

The telecom market is driven by price and competition. Strong service offerings aren’t enough. Customers expect a clear, easy-to-use platform where they can explore offers, sign up, and manage their services.

To address this, Red Bull Mobile decided to invest in a more modern, secure website. The goal was to present clear offers and reflect the brand’s energy. As well as provide users with the ability to manage their services.

We delivered a multilingual website built on Drupal CMS. Our team delivered a site that matched brand guidelines and user expectations. Offers are presented in a clear, friendly design that works across different devices.

What we delivered for Red Bull Mobile

We focused on delivering a solution that was scalable and efficient to manage. The site was designed to handle a growing user base & simplify processes with automation.

Our approach improved the backend & helped streamline workflows. This gave the internal team better control over day-to-day updates. The result was a platform built for reliability & ease of use.

Key features included:

  • Improved performance and automation: We fine-tuned backend processes using PHP logic and database configuration. CRON jobs was added to run background tasks, reducing the need for manual admin work.

  • Simplified content and product management: The CMS was structured to give internal teams better control. We added a custom feed import system using PHP and PERL to make updating plans and offers more efficient.

  • Secure and easy-to-use frontend: The interface was built for clarity and responsiveness. At the same time, the backend followed best practices for secure data handling.

  • Flexible and scalable infrastructure: The modular setup allows for future feature expansion. It supports multiple languages for regional markets.

  • Clearer communication with customers: Offers are easy to browse. The contact section was redesigned to make it simple for users to get support.

Driving engagement with interactive rewards

The second area we worked on with Red Bull Mobile was to deepen user engagement. The project was to design and launch the Red Bull MOBILE COLLECT app. The goal was to reward user activity and strengthen connections with the brand.

The focus was on building brand affinity, encouraging users to engage with the app. Users could earn  & spend “energy” points. They could trade points for event tickets, gadgets, or bonus mobile services. It created a feedback loop that rewarded interaction and kept users coming back.

We developed native apps for iOS and Android, ensuring consistent design and performance.

Our team delivered:

  • A unified user experience across both platforms
  • A backend system for real-time point tracking and rewards
  • Initial functionality and interface testing

 

The result was an engaging app that supported Red Bull Mobile’s brand goals and offered users a more rewarding digital experience.

05.

Delivered and launched for long-term value

Both projects were successfully delivered and launched. The web platform continues to support customer onboarding and service management. The MOBILE Collect app was well received and widely downloaded.
