About project
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Director to join our team. The main goals of this role are to lead Inspeerity’s delivery organization, ensuring the company’s projects and delivery units operate at the highest level of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. This role oversees the health of the project portfolio, drives delivery excellence, manages team capacity and project scheduling, and continuously evolves the company’s delivery capabilities.
As part of the DevelopX Group, the Delivery Director ensures Inspeerity’s delivery standards and practices align with group-wide frameworks, supporting innovation, operational scalability, and profitability.
What you’ll be doing
Delivery Leadership & Strategy
- • Own the end-to-end delivery function to ensure predictable, high-quality and profitable project execution.
- • Shape and improve delivery frameworks, governance and best practices.
- • Maintain a healthy project portfolio and partner with Sales for smooth presales-to-delivery transitions.
- • Optimize delivery performance with a focus on utilization, margin and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Development
- • Manage full team lifecycle - hiring, firing, appraisals, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- • Develop internal leadership capabilities and evolve future delivery leaders.
Capacity & Resource Management
- • Forecast and plan delivery capacity based on the pipeline forecast and opportunities coming from DevelopX.
- • Oversee resource allocation, bench management, and workforce planning to optimize utilization and costs.
- • Collaborate with HR to define staffing needs and priorities.
Project Portfolio & Quality Governance
- • Establish basic governance structures for projects and programs adequate to the engagement models (T&M, fixed, etc.).
- • Monitor project health and act as a key escalation point for risks and client issues.
- • Define and track quality KPIs and delivery excellence metrics.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- • Co-create account plans with Sales and support presales with delivery insights and estimations.
- • Partner with Finance on delivery P&L, profitability forecasting and cost optimization.
- • Contribute to DevelopX Group initiatives focused on delivery transformation, standardization, and innovation.
You will be the best fit if you have
- • 10+ years of experience in software delivery or technology consulting, including 5+ years in a senior delivery or program management role.
- • Proven track record in managing multi-project portfolios and leading cross-functional engineering teams with over 100 FTEs.
- • Strong understanding of delivery governance, project economics, and agile/hybrid delivery models.
- • Demonstrated success in people leadership: recruitment, appraisal, coaching, and conflict management.
- • Experience in capacity planning, forecasting, and organizational scaling.
- • Familiarity with value-based delivery models and presales collaboration.
- • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international consulting environment.
- • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
- • High emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution capability.
- • Strategic thinking combined with execution excellence.
- • Fluency in Polish and English (verbal and written); German is a plus.
- • Ability to regularly visit our offices in Warsaw and Białystok
